The Wasp Life Cycle In Short

The wasp life cycle.

  1. In spring time, new queens emerge from hibernation and make a new nests.
  2. During the summer time wasp nest grows and the colony within the increases in number.
  3. During the autumn the queen wasp produces males called drones and females, new queens which reproduce.
  4. At the end autumn, new queens leave their nest to hibernate throughout the winter. These queens emerge from hibernation usually when the first warm days of spring arrive.
